Residents of nursing homes in Ohio and elsewhere can suffer abuse

Ohio residents who entrust their loved ones to the care of professional staff in nursing homes have the right to reasonably assume that a high standard of safety and appropriate care will be maintained at the facilities. Sadly, some residents in various nursing homes throughout the nation have suffered abuse at the hands of their caregivers. Those in Ohio can take comfort in knowing that there are experienced attorneys ready to help them if such a tragedy should occur.

2 suffer personal injury in Ohio accident

A recent collision occurred on an Ohio highway that involved four separate vehicles. In the aftermath of the accident, it was reported that two of the motor vehicle drivers suffered personal injury. One man, the driver of a semi-truck, was issued a citation in the incident.

Ohio truck accidents sometimes result in personal injury

Ohio roadways are busy traffic thoroughfares where, unfortunately, vehicular accidents often occur. In some circumstances, one or more travelers suffer personal injuries as a result of a collision. Depending upon the severity of a personal injury, emergency and/or long-term medical care might be required in order for an accident victim to physically heal.

Nursing home negligence concerns Ohio residents and others

Some Ohio residents find themselves in need of admission to an assisted living facility due to age and/or health conditions. Nursing home negligence has been the cause of growing concerns for some patients, as well as for the loved ones who have been instrumental in helping them find residence in a medical care facility. Legislation at the state and federal levels has been promoted in an attempt to protect nursing home residents from neglect and abuse; however, such legislation has unfortunately not led to an end in such incidents.
