Some Ohio motor vehicle accidents involve road rage

A tragedy was reported on Ohio Interstate 75 on a recent Saturday. Police continue to search for one of the drivers alleged to have been involved in the accident. Unfortunately, some motor vehicle accidents involve road rage, which is a suspected factor in the recent crash that resulted in a fatality.

Ohio employees might suffer hardship after work-related accident

Ohio residents in the workplace most likely assume that their employers will take necessary steps to ensure a safe and secure work environment. At times, however, workers suffer injury on the job and, depending upon the circumstances of a work-related accident, an employee might suffer long-term hardships due to his or her injuries. Though it is true that most injured workers will be eligible to file a workers' compensation claim in the aftermath of a workplace accident, the process can sometimes be very complicated. It might be comforting for workers to know that they can request legal assistance before attempting to navigate the system on their own.

State steps in after suspected nursing home negligence and abuse

Some families in Ohio and elsewhere arrive at a state in life when an older family member takes up residence in a nursing home facility. Most care facilities operate under strict regulations and protocol, designed to protect residents and provide the highest level of appropriate long-term care. In a recent case, managers and owners of a facility have been accused of hiding nursing home negligence and abuse.

Ohio program helps employees return to work after injury

When a person is injured or becomes ill in the course of normal duties of employment, it can be frustrating for him or her to learn that it may not be possible  to perform the same job after recovery. Ohio residents may want to raise their awareness about a program featured in a recent article that is aimed at helping employees return to the workplace after an on-the-job injury.  The Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation is at the forefront of the new program that helps injured workers return to an active state of employment once they have recovered from their injuries.
